We are currently updating our roster of consultants to enhance our capacity in developing robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. We seek a Full Stack Developer Consultant to provide technical expertise and support in all aspects of web application development, from front-end design to back-end implementation.

Objectives:
The Full Stack Developers will play a crucial role in ensuring that Scofield Associates’ projects are delivered with high-quality, functional, and visually appealing web applications. Key objectives include:

• Providing technical expertise and guidance on full-stack web development technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Developing and implementing web applications that meet client requirements and project specifications.
• Designing and building user interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and responsive.
• Implementing back-end logic and database interactions to ensure data integrity and security.
• Optimizing web applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Providing technical support and maintenance for deployed web applications.

Scope of Work:
The Full Stack Developers will be engaged on a project-specific basis, with the scope of work tailored to the specific needs of each project. Typical tasks may include:

• Gathering and analyzing project requirements to define the scope and technical specifications of the web application.
• Designing and developing front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Building and maintaining back-end systems using server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby) and frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Integrating with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and APIs to manage data and functionality.
• Implementing user authentication, authorization, and security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Deploying and maintaining web applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Conducting code reviews and testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience, OR
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
• A PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in full-stack web development technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Express, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Strong understanding of web development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API integration.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
