Upcoming Assignment

We are finalizing our response to a high-priority assignment on the Development of an E-Mobility White Paper and Case Study, to be implemented in partnership with global development actors. A qualified consultant is required to join the core team immediately after COB on Wednesday, 17th July 2025.

Required Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a seasoned consultant who meets the following profile:

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Transport Economics, Environmental Policy, or related field.

• 7–10 years of experience in:

  • E-mobility systems, electrified transport, or urban infrastructure planning

  • Policy and regulatory analysis, especially in Kenya

  • ESG frameworks, social inclusion, or environmental management

• Proven track record in developing white papers, policy briefs, or case studies

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs)

• Familiarity with the transport, energy, and climate policy landscape in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu

• Prior consulting experience with development organizations or research think tanks is highly desirable
